How We Work
We are self-employed, primary care health professionals dedicated to providing quality maternity care to women, and babies. Our services are covered under the Medical Services Plan. All women with an BC health card can access midwifery care free of charge. For others who do not have a BC health care, please contact us for more information about how we can provide you with care.
The Access Midwifery midwives work full time and on call. This means that there is always a midwife available to you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Women come into our care through self-referral, through community agencies and through referrals from other health care providers.
